I was wondering if anyone has used air shocks to help with spring sag?
I put a 2.5 inch spring pac lift on my yj and the springs have settled to the point that my drive line and shocks are bottoming out.
I dont have time to get the springs arched before hump and bump so I thought maybe air shocks would be a quick and easy fix.
Looking for experience or input Thanks

I am not sure if it would work proper. it could take the sag out for sure if you had enough nitrogen in them. but to get the air shock to work in conjunction with your leafs might be tricky.

If your springs sagged that much that your shocks are bottoming out than i say a add a leaf would work better than air shocks because i would imagine that by the time you put enough nitrogen in them to lift it back up it would make the ride super stiff and not mesh well with your leafs but maybe someone else has done this and might know otherwise

I'm assuming Jeff is talking about the old school true "air" shocks, I assume it would work to some degree. I am just unsure how much abuse they could take, I had them on an old truck of mine and they got beat pretty bad before they died...try it, probably not to much for a pair of them.

Air shocks??? Like what we used to use to "raise" the rear of our Camaro/Nova/Chevelle/GTO/RoadRunner/GTX/Charger/Torino/Fairlane/Mustang/Challenger/'Cuda etc.?

The "hijackers" sticker for the 1/4 panel window?

I found out today that rough country is going to warranty the springs.
Just not going to have them for hump and bump.
Cheap fix for the hump and bump I will build a long set of shackles out of 3/8 steel and reinforcce with pipe so the wont buckle.
Then when I get back install the new springs
Thanks for the help
