All chop saw blades are not created equal!

Yeah, go ahead and laugh at me

I've always used the cheapo chop saw blades from Home Depot and I've always just lived with the fact that my chop saw cuts slowwww. WRONG! .....so I picked up some blades from Metal Supermarket ( 2 for $10 ) ....the guy behind the counter said they're the bomb....anyway....get them home and BOOM....ripping through 1/4" wall DOM like it's warm butter!

...Just thought I'd share my stupid learning from the weekend.

To summarize: DON'T BUY CHOP SAW BLADES AT HOME CHEAPO

Well tell us the brand name on them, or is it, "The Bomb" brand

Yeah, I guess the brand would help

I'll check the brand later and post it up...if not just go to metal supermarket (Lehi) and get the blades that are 2 for $10 with the red label.

I saw the light last summer.. There was a post on this by me some time ago and someone turned me on to he brand (that I don't remember). I buy mine at Wasatch Steel.

Here is the link, I did buy the Walter Baldes, and I also did the niping of the blade. Both work very well.
