I have a Sterling 10.5 and am gonna get a Rear Diff cover for it, I have had a couple of people tell me that they like to get hot... My question is are aluminum diff covers like the G2 really strong enough offroad?..

depends on how they're made, and how hard you're smacking them I suppose.

As far as I know, Sterlings aren't burning up because they get too hot.

I'm pretty stoked about my setup, it will probably just get a "Solid" Cover $70 from poly performance best deal out there.

You can get a factory ford aluminium diff cover for 60 bucks or so. They were used late 2000. I have on on my powerstroke. No idea how tough it is.
