I don't know if they have the socketless ones but Evco used to have a pretty good selection of them, you have to go to their main store on 3rd west though.

Checker on 45th and State had an acceptable selection of Russell fittings when I was building my buggy a few years ago. They were behind the counter, right in the middle back then.

an AN fitting is the same as a JIC fitting, check a hydraulic hose vendor.
