Any good wheeling spots around Zion's?

The wife has the itch to get out of the house and hit some warmer weather. She wants to go to Zion's and do some wheeling!!!!

What's a good trail down there. Scenic, fun. some challenge.

you can go to Sand Hollow or Kanab for some wheeling, but there's nothing inside the NP.

Sand Hollow is the best for hardcore stuff (though they have plenty of mellow trails too). Kanab is a bit easier in general.

I have not been on this trail but supposedly it is fun and lots of river crossings. It is called Barracks Trail.

There is actually a road that branches off of the road that goes up to Flying Monkey Hill is what I believe its called. Its where the military did some rocket sled tests with monkeys. This is a dirt road that goes around a really pretty GREEN grass valley. It comes out on the edge of Zions but its a descent dirt road. Neat little drive but your car could do it. It comes out near Springdale or whatever that town is called.

There is also the Poverty Flat trail that starts just past the East entrance of the park. It will take you to the north side of the Barracks.

The S in Zion(s) Park is silent. Zion's is a bank

There are lots of fun areas to explore around ZNP, but we had fun on the Kanab side. I didn't make it to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes, but heard that was a fun area. We explored around Picakaboo trail head and had a blast!

Going on today. Barracks is a great one right next to park with amazing views of similar rock. And sand hollow has all sorts of wheeling, sand, rocks, etc. Hog canyon is another beauty and many blm dirt roads all surround the park. Well worth the visit, stay in the park as a hub, hike, bike, climb, eat, rest, repeat.
