Any reason why you couldn't take an air tank, from say, like a peterbuilt and use it as a fuel cell?

Wouldn't you want something with baffles inside to cut down on sloshing?

Only reasons I can think of is rust I know my compessors get a lot of water in the tanks, and 2 a pick up/sending unit.

Why don't you buy a fuel cell and use that as.... I dunno..... maybe an air tank?

I think mainly the time associated with seting up the fuel line hookups and pump hookups. Plus mounting and then seeing if it even will work, would be enough to persuade you to buy one when you can get a poly cell for around 125-150 all setup. I vote you use the air tank as an airtank

And like others said, they have had water in them so you might have issues later on with plugged filters and etc.
