I put a home under contract for one of my buyers this weekend. The home has a partially finished daylight basement. The buyer wants to know what it would take to convert one of the windows to a door, to create a walk-out basement. To me, the untrained eye, it looks fairly straight forward. The foundation wall is very low to the ground. it seems like just a cut out of framing/siding and add a door. But I'm not a contractor so we need someone to weigh in.
We are currently in the inspection period so we can arrange a site visit, and my clients would pay your consultation fee if you could discuss the job and possibly give them a bid. For now I have a pic of the backyard.
