Don't know if the stock it, but the manufacturers site said they sell it. I want to inspect the hinge and also see how it would tie into the uni-frame. If they happen to stock it, I want to see if they are able to email me a copy of the mounting instructions. It might save me a trip to WVC.

That is the new smittybilt bumper. It is still in r&d with no eta on completion.

I was wondering that. If you go to the SmittyBilt website, they have buy it now links all over the place, but when you click on one, it shows a different bumper but the same part number.

I just chated with a CSR at Quadratec. They have it on backorder. He shows an ETA of early march for that bumper.

I work for 4wheelparts, we are owned by the same company that owns Smittybilt. They do this all the time where they pre-release product, and then run into issues with manufacturing. I will honestly be surprised to see that bumper by spring 2014 if at all.

Now it makes sense. I ran into the same thing back when i was trying to order their D-Ring tow bar. It was on the site and said it was for sale but i couldnt purchase it.

I am a big fan of Rigidco products for the xj.

I would bet his bumpers have more mounting points than any other xj bumper to spread the load onto the uni-body.

He is a guy working out of his garage in West Valley, he can do some customization for them if you want.

It seems to usually take about a month to get your stuff from the time you order. (but quicker than this Smitty built one I guess...)

I was thinking of getting the Rigidco sliders, but didn't know he was making rear bumpers too. He really needs to refresh his website!

I'm digging this bumper!

But I would want it with a drivers side swing and tire mount. I'm going to have to give him a call in the next couple of weeks and see what he can do.

Thanks for the heads up!

That is actually on his xj.

Call him, if he doesn't answer leave a message he will call you back.

I think it would be a lot of work to change it to a driver side swing, but ask him.
