are dana 30 knuckles the same for YJ, TJ, JK?

my neighbors kid brother needs a knuckles for his TJ dana 30 front. Said the ball joint is sloppy and slips right in. Those should be hard to press in. I think he needs a replacement knuckle and would like to hunt for a pass side.

YJ,TJ,XJ are the same JK,WJ,KJ are different.

I think TJ, YJ, ZJ and XJ are the same knuckle? I used to swap unit bearings between TJ and '91 XJ housing (then other XJ housings of unknown year) quite frequently. I'd be surprised if the JK knuckle is the same and I KNOW the WJ knuckle is different (but will bolt onto the older housings).

On those years the ball joint of on the inner c's. The outer knuckle bolts on. I have a driver side knuckle if that is what is needed.

More or less the same. My YJ knuckles (and early XJ knuckles) where slightly different in the brake caliper boss area.

WJ knuckles will work with WJ brake calipers and a JKS spacer welded to them (plus TJ or XJ unit bearings).
