I want to replace my tranny in my Cherokee. It is an 82 fullsize with a 360 and a drivers side drop t case. All the autos I see are passenger side. Does this mean I will have to change the steering?

Is there an easy fix?

Actually most of the fullsize Waggoneer/Cherokees are automatic and I think a drivers drop(post 80) manual would be even more rare than a pass drop manual. There is an easy soulution as factory parts will give you what you want. TF727 from an 80s FSJ is what you are looking for.

autos dont determine the side the t-case is on...thats the transfer case...if you find one that will bolt to your engine and to your t-case it should just go right in...
