What's real bad is that he was very new to riding... his friends took him out to White Wash... on his 2nd ride! :eek: :rofl: I think he needs new friends.

I rode that trail last week. That hill he ate shit on is STEEP and has a big lip at the top. I almost endo'd UP it. That's how bad it kicked the back end out. I second the need for new friends!

This is badass, especially if you love the idea of riding in Baja.... Tony Gurule lives in Grand Jct and I know him (matter of fact, he registered on here for some GPS tracks ;) ). My '08 KTM 250 XCFW used to belong to Chris Vestal and Ned Suesse is from Denver and has done all kinds of rally racing. Lots of other very big names in this video... the riding is EPIC!

You and me both! I dream of riding in Baja and plan to do so sooner rather than later. For now I'll settle for getting to know the lay of the land in the 4x4. Baja.... some day soon!!

The question is, what bike? I have a friend that wants to do, rip to the tip. I'd have to do it Johnny Campbell style on an xr600. I guess the xr600 would be our only similarity but I'd be running his pace in my mind the whole time:)

IMO most any reliable, 450-sized dirtbike with a 5 gallon tank and a steering stabilizer would do. They say the XR650R is the King of Baja.... but I think I'd want a new KTM 500 XCW. :greg:
