Barlow's Custom Guns - thumbs up

So I took my my winchester 94/22 to get reblued a while back and when I got it back, it wouldn't chamber a round. I should have taken it back, but I had moved and blah blah blah... they seemed like crappy gunsmiths anyways.

So, I took it to Barlow's in WVC. 2 weeks later, they figured it out AND figured out that the previous gunsmith left a bunch of bluing salts in the bore, which would have blown up my gun it if had fired. He fixed that and cleaned the rust off of the magazine tube.

So, long story short, +10 to barlows and -10 to discount guns and ammo... guess you get what you pay for.

it wasn't chambering because a spring was installed backwards, which is lucky for me because the salts would have made the bullet jam the barrel.

i'd like to add that I've disassembled this gun many times to clean it and never messed it up. it shouldn't have been that hard. that's the last time I go to a discount gunsmith.
