This post is to inform you about a benefit trail ride and chili
cookoff to help raise money for Brandon Gillen. Brandon, owner
and operator of Anarchy Offroad, was in a serious skiing accident
on January 28th of this year. He is now paralyzed from the chest
down. Please join us on July 28, 2007, at Five Mile Pass, to help
us raise money, and give moral support to Brandon and his family.
Five Mile Pass is home to the popular trails, Rattlesnake and
Constrictor. Both of these trails are rated at 4 to 5, but dont
let that discourage you from coming. Ther are several areas in the
vicinity for all types of vehicles. While this event is free of
charge, we encourage everyone who attends to make a donation in
Brandons name at any Washington Mutual Bank Branch. The trail ride
will begin at 7:00 Saturday morning, and the chili cookoff will
start after the run. We encourage anyone with a chili recipe to
join us in the cookoff. Thank You for your support and hope to see

Sorry for the short notice, but I just found this forum the other night and thought I'd post it in case anyone wanted to come. An e-mail has been circulating since the expo.

holy short notice! Well, emails are grand, but this forum would pull 3x's as many people that know Gillen as an email circle. I never heard of any email and I consider myself pretty good friends with him.

That being said, i can't make it. Previous obvligations. Also, knowing many of his friends, 7:00 a.m. is going to be rough for them

I did not see this in time, so did not make it. I would have definitely been there. So let's have another with say, 30 days notice and we will try to round up a good showing.

Gotta say I had a blast,
It was way cool to meet some more of the members of RME and go wheelin together. Going up and over Eagle Nest was such a rush!!!! This was my 5th trip out wheeling, the other four times was Rattlesnake and three trips up AF Canyon. Constrictor was a blast and my junk really impressed me on what it can do. Cant wait to get out again.:greg:
