Buying a welder

Hi all,

Time to buy a welder. I want to make new sliders, changes to bumpers, brackets, uni-body stiffeners etc. I'd also like to use it on sheet metal for body work.

I understand that you can hook up a Ready Welder to certain stick welders... So can I hook up this:

to this?:

I know using the RW as a shop welder may be unconventional, and I've read some threads here on RME where people recommend getting a 220v like the Miller 180 etc. But recently I've been following a crazy build where the owner was using a Ready Welder for his entire project... I like that idea because then I've got it for the trail as well (I have future plans for a dual Optima blue-top set-up)

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on something so I'm looking for some insight from the wise ones on this forum!

Thanks for the help!

Wire feed is a constant voltage/DC process. The tombstone you are looking at is neither. If the combo works at all it will not work correctly. Take the advice to get the 220volt mig machine.
