Cage Through the Floor Seal

I read some where different options on sealing the hole where the roll cage goes through the floor board when mounting the cage to the frame. For the life of me (due to age i guess) I can't not remember what people were using. There was one item that I liked, it was a boot of some kind.... anyone have any input...

That might be it, I guees you would just cut one end to make it large enough for the 1 3/4" tube.

you can also get CV boot type things from marine stores. We would use them to seal off on the boats where all the cables, wires, fuel lines, etc. went from the motors into the hull. Same type of thing, you cut to fit and then they have a nice ring with about 6 bolts on it that bolts to the base of it. I'll see if I can dig up a pic online.

here we go...found it...this is exactly like what we used to use, this is another style.

We used roof flashings like the ones for the vents on your house we just removed the base so that it is just a rubber boot.
