I rolled in the hot tub saturday and bent a rear leaf. i have spares but the only rear i have is out of a newer cruiser with the bigger shackle bolts and bushings. can i modify a front pack to work or just use the two main leafs off a front and the rest of a rear pack?

as long as the main leafs measure the same, I don't see why not.

the only real difference would be spring rate but, if you are only using the main leaf you should be fine.

I guess there is only one way to find out for sure. I will use the mains off a front and the rest out of a rear pack. If I put it back together this week I will be on my way back to Moab Friday morning.
