So I'm headed up to Heber in about an hour and was curious about the road to Cascade Springs from there. I'll be driving an almost brand new Mazdaspeed3 and don't want to scratch it. So here we go:

How is the road up there? Is it paved from the Heber side?

Does it ever close?

Is there a fee?

Would going through American Fork Canyon be better? Is it paved?

Thanks guys!

It would be better to take a car from AF canyon. Rough coming from heber major washboardy, ect . I think theres no fee if your going straight through AF. Just tell em' your not going to Tibble fork but after 5 pm the shack should be shut down for the day.

That's exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for, thanks a bunch! Didn't end up making it but next time I'll keep this in mind.

I would do what they said also. We went there on Saturday and a couple cars had come from the heber side. Good amount of dirt/dust on them.
