I have an 83 suburban with the shackle flip. That gets me 4 more inches. I am wondering if anyone has ever dropped the front spring brackets on the rear springs. There are 8 rivets in each side. the bottom 6 are almost evenly spaced so i been looking and am thinking i could chop the rivets out and mount the thing in the rivet holes above. i measured its almost 2" to the next rivet so that would give me another 2" of lift right??? the width gets wider so the holes will be off but i could at least line up the rearmost 2nd lowest rivet anybody see any problems or ideas that i have missed any info appreciated.
