What is the "non-motorized climbing area" on the BFE maps?

I'm pretty sure it was intended to be an area where rock climbers could climb without worrying about getting ran over. I'm not sure if it's used much.

The area is on the back side of the property which most people never see. There are no permanent anchors or bolts.
