Damn Thieves..

Had the encolsed trailer jacked up with the floor jack on the driveway, so I could take the hub off and change a stud. Ran out of time and lowered axle with the exposed spindle down on the jack resting. Without the wheel on you would have to use a block to remove the Jack.

Anyhow, I get up for work in the morning and see someone stole the jack and some small parts, they dropped the axle down on some fresh cut 4x4's..

Seriously, oh and the tire as well. Called the police and made a report, guess this is common, people stealing at night.. har har...


Lesson learned, close your garage door and keep stuff out of sight. Lately there is a growing trend with garage breakins.

So if you see a Red 3-5 ton floor jack for sale, let me know.. It's rather new and nice quality.. lol

I feel you. I had a flat on my trailer. Stripped a lug nut so I pulled the hub. Had the tire and rim/hub off and left it over night under the trailer. they stole it all. Douches.

Ya, I hope the Thieves have the 110lb jack fall on their toes.. Impressive to steal something that heavy quitely. Anyhow, motion lights will be used outside the house nightly.. Oh, and cats with lasers..
