Been out of the 4x4 stuff for a while as many of the old familiar names around here know... but over the last few years my wife and daughter are dragging me back into it as it became something that they love to do.
I have been working on getting a Jeepster Commando going for my daughter. Lots of parts coming from guys on here. We just finished narrowing a Chev Dana 44 and doing a SOA on the front that has turned out nice. (Yeah old school rules!)
Now I am in need of bearings, shims, etc to get the front axle in and hopefully get her rolling down the road. Any good local sources for these parts?
Anybody in the Salt lake area have some set-up bearings they would rent/loan/chuck on my lawn as they drive by??
My brother can't seem to find the set I usually borrow.
Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
