dana 44 shaft

i have heard that the tj dana 44 shafts will work in the xj dana 44 all you would have to do is change the mounting flange? is this true?

That is what I have heard too...BTW there is an XJ 44 shaft for sale on JU...wan;t it you buddy that was looking for one???
