This is mostly going to be my buddy Gomers build but I will be helping him a lot of the way. He is doing it the smart way and trying to buy things once and but the right parts. He is like most of us though and does not have a huge bank account, so we we will building this in stages.

Plan for now:
Linked built 60 front
Full hydro steering
Linked 14 bolt rear
Keep stock motor/trans
Lots of cutting/tube
He is trying to decide on gearing for the axles/doubler or whatever. This will come later when all of the above is done.

Plan later on:
5.3L
TH400
Atlas/205/Stak whatever

If anybody needs 85' SR5 parts I know where you can get a ton :greg: Also he has a rear Dana70 that needs to get out of the shop.

This may take awhile as its not my first priority and he has a full time job. Here are the axles and donor truck. More to come later.

Doing things once is certainly a cheaper way of building, in the long run. I like the plans, it's going to turn out mean!

I'm actually in need of a stock Toyota birfield to send to Bobby Long as a core for his "warranty policy". Is he willing to part out the front axle?

4:10's, no brakes, no yoke (1410 avail), no wheel studs

Missing a lot but I am sure he would pretty much give it away just to rid himself of it. Hubs/ring pinion and carrier would be worth a tiny bit.

We finally got all the parts needed.

Last week we spent some time making welding the diff covers up and making the hydro steering mount. There will still be a ram "bumper" that goes in front of this to protect the ram.

Little more work done. We got it to sit really low. 14" from ground to frame right now but the axle needs to come up 2" so, about 16" from frame to ground at full stuff.

Here is a comparison from his to mine. My frame is just below 20" with over 5 inches of compression so, you its not a biggie either but, his is LOW. To tell the truth I am a bit jealous of this build. I wish mine was fresh and done correct. It will just be motivation for me to finally start a buggy when this is done.

Starting to move along a little bit. At this rate we should be done before Bryson :D OOOF! Sorry, that was for the air foil comment.
