they have one in the best buy ad this week for $59 after a $40 rebate...not a bad deal...

hey shawn, if you want to put videos on CDs then download that program I put up a link for...I shrunk Reliance down to 256MB and on the computer is still looks jut fine, that means you could actually fit two DVDs per CD...you can choose your size, if you just want one per disc then size it to 700MB and then it will be higher quality... www.fairusewizard.com

Make sure your drive will burn the media format,
There are DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, +DL, -DL and dual format

That one's nice but the NEC beats it in DVD+RW, DVD-RW and DVD+R (DL) speeds for $2 difference.

FWIW, my next burner will be NEC, gets great reviews, wish I wouldn't have dumped the cash in the SATA plextor

I bought a Sony DVD burner at Staples that burns all formats and double layer for $99 after $30 mail in rebate. I really like it.

I just bought this one from newegg. $67 shipped, burns DVD's at 16x, burns dual layer as well. I have had it for a week, and so far no errors, or coasters. It is the one to get.
