You will need races, the bearing and race wear together into a matched pair.

All the pictures I found online for that part number had the bearing and the race together though, so you might already have it all?

Big thanks to I-lean for helping me install this.
It was a great learning experience and fun. Also cool to see some of the awesome tools involved with this kind of stuff.
Started just after 9 am and was back on the road by 11:30 . [emoji41]

I came this >< close to ordering a TrueTrac for my diff, but my better half talked me down. I had one in the front of my '86 4Runner and liked it a lot, and if I keep the Broverlander long enough I'll eventually put one in back for sure.

Hopefully next month I can get the front installed. Got some family visiting so I can't get to the shop right now.

Might go over to Bacchus hwy and play for a bit if anyone's interested ?

Testing done today.
While I was at it I checked my track bar mods.

It cleared the spring perch with room to spare. Bumpstops did well.

True-Track did very well. Everything I pointed at just hooked up and drove over.
Plus my recent suspension mods performed great. New Bilstien shocks, track bar, shackle relocation boxes, front spacers and adjustable upper control arms.

Very pleased right now.

My front has been sitting in a box for awhile. Now starting to hear squeaks in 4low , it's time to get to the front.
Plus after doing my motor mounts the unit bearings started making noise.
Yes. This year my XJ has gotten alot of attention. New UCAs, track bar, cooling system upgrades, motor mounts and now U-joints/unit bearings. Or just preventive maintenance.

Ripped the front axle out and sent it to I-lean to have the truetrac installed.

Drivers side was really hard to turn by hand and gritty the ujoint was seized only turning one direction. Passenger side wasn't as bad.

Finished up last night, still need to install the new driveshaft but should back to wheeling by this weekend .
Test drive is great no ill effects from the steering during street duty.
Couldn't ask for more.
