Everytime you try and sell something you get emails like this:

"Hello

this is henry odeys, i will like to purchase ur 1985 Honda 350X
which was place on ads for sale, though i was please to buy
this item but i will like to know more information base on the
condition of the product and the list price u want to offer it, i
will be very greatful if the condition can meet my needs base on
trust and pls try to get back to me soon so as to contact my
shipper and to make an arrangent for the payment ealier,
anticipating ur urgent response, thanks. "


MY RESPONSE:

"sure just send me a check for whatever amount and I'll just send ya the rest"

THEIR NEXT EMAIL:

"Hello,
thanks for ur urgent response, since u have confirm the condition ok, i will like to know the obo price so that i can contact my client to send the payment by UNITED STATE POSTAL MONEY ORDER, possibly the payment may be over draft i dont know if u can send the excess fund to my shipper to enable him come and pick the item up, if this is acceptable by u, plz email me with ur mailling address, name and telephone number , hope to hear from u soo , thanks."

yeah he just asked for my address, I gave him an old address where I still get mail, maybe I'll have a little fake money order for a souvenier

I work for overstock.com and we even get emails like that. it's pathetic. Helloooooo, we're a store! If they want to buy something, buy it, don't send us spam. Sheesh. But oh well, they're fun to mess with and I get 1 more email to reply to each time.
