There is a commercially available whole-assed way to do a 1" lift:

Pretty neat. Nowhere near the 3" posted originally, but not everyone can be that much of a rockstar.

I'm not at all sure what's up with the jigsaw puzzle. The version I saw was the nicely bent version.

I like that design for those that want to remove the body to install them but there is no way to properly weld those on with out lifting off the body. The Genright ones should be no problem. A weld on one side would not make me comfortable, and especially that side.
