Where can I get some fiberglass cloth and resin, inexpensive but not cheap stuff.
I bought a 1984 Starcraft trailer project from "Lenny" here.
I want to cover the wood with fiberglass cloth and resin to seal it before re-skinning it with the original aluminum sheeting, or painting it. I'd like to do this before getting the trim and canvas back in.
First phase is getting it back on the road and that will include a 4" lift with the torqflex axle.
Much like this, and with some larger 12" wheels.
We want to get the trim and canvas in, canvas needs some repair, best place to have this fixed?
Later, I want to alter the wheelbase and extend the tongue a bit and add storage rack to the back. Add a bigger axle with brakes and probably open the wheel wells up to accept bigger tires.
I have a 1972 Starcraft trailer project in the garage that is going to be more resto than mod.
Of course, if I had a vintage tow rig, I might have to tackle the Relic Run...
Man my garage looks small, and is messy.
