Wanted Ford Explorer dana 35 gears

Hey guys, I'm looking for a 4.10 gear set to run larger tires. The aftermarket is obsolete on this diff, only 4.56 is offered by Yukon. This is the Dana 35 ttb reverse cut commonly found in '91-'94 Explorers and '90-'97 Rangers. Let me know if you have a parts rig laying in the backyard, or know of one around. I have scoured the junkyards in Ogden for the past year looking for this. Thank you!

What size tire do you plan to run? I have a 4.10 rear in my ranger and I kinda wish I had 4.56s for 33s and a 4.0
I am on 31’s with 3.73 gears now and like it. So 4.10’s with 33’s should work nicely with the 5 speed I have. My RPM’s would be screaming on 33’s and 4.56 on the highway I feel.

I mean stock was like a 225/75r15 so like 28.3" with 3.73s ---so you'll lose some getup and go if you only step to 4.10s and 33's.
The math works like this:
28.3"÷3.73=7.587
33"÷ 7.587=4.349
So you're in between 4.10 and 4.56 to get back to "stock" gearing.
Since the larger & wider tire will have more weight and rolling resistance you'll want to step up to the deeper of the two gear options.
4.349÷4.56= .9538 or 4.62% more RPMs than stock gearing.
So you'll see less than 5% more RPMs.
5% more will sacrifice very little top end with the 5 speed but make crawling and accelerating from a stop much better.

My truck is significantly lighter than stock (fiberglass fenders, bare interior and carbon dash and zero bed) and I'd still go 4.56.
