freaking poachers

a man kills 7 deer and gets 24 days and a $2,000 fine, $2,800 in restitution and write a letter of apology.... thats it! i have hunters in the family and i see how much they spend each year just to hunt a deer. this guys goes and kills 7 of them and gets pretty much a slap on the wrist and its done with... maybe 24 months and 2000 a deer and more in restitution would do just fine.... thats just me
am i the only one who thinks this was a lil low of a punishment???

hopefully they took his truck, guns, and hunting priviliges. If someones family is starving I dont have a problem with them taking one, but seven is just sick, id be concerned that they just like to kill.

It should be whatever the law is x7, since he killed seven of them. I fully agree it is a very weak sentence.

i understand if your family is hungry and you need it for food.. but i think 7 deers is a lil much.. think of the people that could have used the meat from them 7...
