I found a forklift being parted out, and I was thinking about buying the entire steering system off of it. anyone know what Pumps, Orbital valves etc. they use? I'm going to look at it tomm. I can get the entire setup for a couple bills.

Thx

Might be a good score, might not. Some have valves that only steer when the engine's running, others will steer with the engine off. Either way, it's likely to be a non-load-reactive valve, but you never know.

AFA the pump, I'd assume they run off the same hydraulic pump that runs all the rest of the hydraulics of the forklift.

my orbital was supposedly for a Toyota fork lift..

i think it's a good score if you can get the parts for cheap.. i wouldn't spend much money until you know exactly what you're getting..
