I pulled this trans from a 2002 or 2003 chevy 2500 hd with 6.0. The trans was rebuilt by another shop in cache valley. A couple weeks later the t-case blow. They owner of the truck took it back and they rebuilt the t-case. The t-case lasted about 2 months before it blow up a second time. That is when I meet a very angry customer and the truck. We found that the transmission case had been welded on the left upper tab that mounts to the bell housing. i can only assume that the trans was swan dived off the tranny jack and slammed into the floor. The only thing I can figure is that the case is tweaked and something on the main shaft is out of alignment wiping out the t-case. So this is a PARTS trans. The bell housing was also cracked when we pulled it off to install on the new tranny I got for them. So if you need some nv4500 parts i have some.
