new to the forum but not to wheeling, use to be on jeep-slc but moved away and finally got internet again. i have a 88 wrangler that has a soa and i put a dana 44 for the front end (its out of a ford 1/2 ton) i have a lock right locker and last labor day it was poping so i figured it was the hubs, so i bought a new set and it is still doing it, i have torn the whole axle apart and looked at every part the locker teeth look perfect and the hubs splines look good and the axle looks good so this is where i am at frustrated and confused any body that thinks they could help me please let me know what you think it could be Robert T

How do the splines on the driveline look? My first guess is still the lock-rite, but it sounds like you checked it out pretty well

Get a pin/spring kit for the lockright. You may or may not be able to see anything wrong with them, but if the teeth aren't rounded off on the locker that's the only other thing that really goes bad--plus the kits are only $15 or so.
