I have thought about it and I think I would place a mining claim and use what I need and donate the historical info and sight to my favorite college.

How would that work? Just take so much out and melt it down..?

I'd make a "few" midnight runs and deposit the gold somewhere else... :guilty:

And why wouldn't that work? A lot the ones that have found stuff in the Unitas and surrounding areas keep everything they find it seams like. And what about the people that find all the ship wreck stuff, that is expensive exploration they only finance it through finding the treasure
