Skutumpah road has been won, Paria Canyon coming up!
Come and help us celebrate Kane County’s recent victory of having the Skutumpah road confirmed in court as Utah’s first recognized RS2477 highway and possibly the first RS2477 road adjudicated on lands managed by the Department of the Interior
Date; September 25th, 2010
Where; Deer Springs Ranch Airport , off Skutumpah road
Time; Rally at 1:00 pm. Trail rides before and after the rally.
Featured Speaker will be Senate Candidate Mike Lee along with local dignitaries.
At Your Leisure will be there covering this event.
There are many OHV opportunities in the immediate area of Deer Springs Ranch
and folks are advised to bring their recreational vehicles and make a
weekend out of it. Camping will be available at Deer Springs Ranch near the
site of the rally.
The Skutumpah Road from Lower Podunk to Deer Springs Wash is part of the
Great Western Trail and open to stickered ATV's. The rest of the road is
open to street legal ATV's and licensed vehicles. If your ATV isn't street
legal, It's recommended that you trailer it in on the Skutumpah Road to Deer
Springs Ranch and from there you are able to access the many BLM designated
routes in the area that are legal for ATV's
Please follow all rules and regulations on trails in the GSENM and adjacent BLM managed lands
