I have been put in charge of planning a family reunion next July. The plan is to camp somewhere in southern(ish) Utah. I have looked at about 12 million places.. and have not been able to satisfy the camping location demands. Here is the list of requirements, in order.
1-Reservable group site that allows RV trailers. somewhere between 20-100 people will attend
some in tent, some in trailers. needs to be reserved to assure available venue.
2-Water access. Creek, river, lake, etc. No motorboats, but ability to swim/play in water.
3-cooler temps. Somewhere in the hills, shade, etc.
4-ATV/Dirtbike riding. Mostly for kiddie type riding.. but I would love some real trails
Half the family is coming from the Salt Lake area, the other half from Mesa, AZ. We can meet ANYWHERE in the middle.
I am always amazed at how many area there really are to camp.. until I try to find them. Maybe my internet skills are lacking..
