help on samurai(not getting fuel?)

hey! i need some help on getting my sammy going. its like it is having a fuel problem, i changed the fuel filter, really dirty orange, and cleaned the carb. every now and then it will run good, but about 5 or ten minutes later, it acts like its not getting fuel. it still has all the emissions crap on it, and stock carb. anyone have any ideas?

well, dont know much about these engines, but not really sure. is there a way i can check it?i guess its mechanical, and i was gonna unhook the lines from the charcoal box and put in an electric pump

another question about this. its an 86, just wondering if it has an ecm or something like that. how hard is it to get rid of all of the emissions stuff?

When mine was doing this, it was the carb, it needed a rebuild. I ended up just getting a weber to put on it, much better!!

anyone else know anything that i can do without spending any money untill i find out what the problem is?

i would check your fule pump, and regardless if its good or bad, i would still switch to electric...
