help with dana 30

few months ago i got rid of the disconect front axel shafts and put the chromo shafts in now im resealing it again because of the wrong seals anyone know what the right seal is for this thing

Is the seal you are talking about the one on the disconnect or an axle seal? For the disconnect I used "the right stuff" gasket maker. I bought a block off plate from wayne so I bet he could hook you up.

The inner seals I would give Wayne H a call/PM as well. I know he has done a bunch of these but I don't have a clue what the seal is .. Wayne will give you a good deal too anyhow

Did you put 2 seals in at the carrier? If not, pull the carrier and install the longside seal. They are just standard D30 seals.

Also, be very careful inserting the shafts. Be extra careful if your new shafts have a sharp edge still.

i put 2 seals in at the carrier the one on the long side moved down to the disconect bearing

when i check the sizes the seal on the long side needs to be a little bigger then the short
