Maybe this engine is just reeeeeaaallly awesome still, I don't know LOL

anyway, got Sean's old Blazer rocketship. It's snappy! but it's got like 180k+ on it. So. Went to Eureka, and noticed fluctuating oil pressure on the way-- fully warmed engine, at 2200-2500rpm, 75mph-- from 40psi to 60psi.

Am I freaking out because nothing I've owned has ever had more than 40psi under those conditions? Or should I maybe get into it a little?

Oil sender connections are clean and free of corrosion. Oil pressure sender has been ordered just in case though.

I'd put a second sensor on it, eliminate that its not a sensor problem. If its presented on the other sensor as well, it's probabbly a partially occluded oil passage, or a blowoff malfunctioning.

That's a lot more trouble than its worth on a GM engine LOL but your logic is sound....

We'll see if the sender specs out once I get it out. If it does, my next stop is the adapter and relief valves on the way to the filter.. which is on the radiator support hahahah
