Hole in the Rock - Ferry Closed all spring

Looks like the ferry will be closed till july 1.

I will be down there in June, guess we will come in from the Blanding side.

It's still faster going through Hanksville than coming around from Blanding. Last couple times I've done HITR, I've gone that way and just skipped the ferry - too expensive and unless you time it just right takes too long. Easier just to drive around anyway.

Agree on the timing on the ferry. Bummer about the accident.

I enjoy the ferry and think it's part of the experience. I'm kind of disappointed about this.
