Yep, like mbryson pointed out, RME does not run (and will not run) and kind of pop-ups...the only ads RME has are the google ads that show up in the threads but no pop-ups.

download moizilla and be done forever. none of that other software will do what mozilla does.

downloads.com or mozilla.com
and use it instead of internet explorer.

RME DOES NOT authorize the use of, or locally apply popup advertising, and never will.

If you are seeing popups, your machine is infected with spyware.

If the spyware is watching the html stream in the browser it isn't difficult to do context based popups. a common one that is being installed by a signed SUN certificate (yeah, thats right dirty bastards sold us out) is When You save and another, I can't remember the name of, they'll be in the add/remove programs dialogue

firefox on win on rare occassion would see a pop up
8 weeks now on linux with firefox and not a single pop up.

Mozilla apps are your friend... firefox for browsing and thunderbird for email
