That is not a dumb idea. Before the flavored wine cooler type malt beverages became popular, most stores gave more shelf space to microbrewed beers. If they take them off the shelves maybe ,I hope, the space will be used for more varieties of beer. It is wishful thinking I know. They will probably just give the space to more Budlight.

I can appreciate you wanting some micro brew, but it's still a stupid idea. It would be like not fighting the closure of a popular trail because it would make it easier for you to get to a less popular (and better) trail.

More like closing a SUWA members only hiking trail so that I could get to pritchett canyon 4X4 trail. They could never make another bottle of that awful stuff, and I would not miss it, or feel sorry for anyone that likes it. Stock up on that Smirnov Ice Meat. You may have to drive to Evanston in the future to buy it.:rofl:

I won't drink any 3.2 **** anyway, it's not worth the time. But why would you sit idle while they make another law restricting something near what you enjoy?

yet another paper pusher that is in a position to inflict their ideas of a Utopian society upon others. Imagine the expense now that the restaurants will have to put out to hide the liquors from those whom are offended and that cost will be passed down to the patrons both offended and non offended alike. Just plan stupid imo. simply ask not to be seated near the bar then if it bothers you that much. Just like the days of old when they use to ask 'smoking or non smoking?'.

Or go eat somewhere else, which is what people would do if they were offended.... and the restaurants would see this and do something about it, you know, if it really were an issue.

How does someone who has never tried a drop of alcohol in her life, get a place on a commission governing alcohol consumption? Isn't that like electing a president who doesn't know anything about....well anything? Oh....wait...we did that too....:rolleyes:

I beleive that a large part of the reason those beverages exist in the first place is because of stupid laws like the ones in Utah. Real wine coolers were not legal to sell in stores so they invented what is really just artificially flavored beer. I agree with the 3.2 comment. I would love to be able to get beer not limited to 3.2 at the grocery store. It won't happen here anytime soon. I really wish the beer would be refrigerated in the state stores and warehouses. It is a shame they allow really good stuff to sit warm and also in the light.

Untill a year or two ago, there was never a drinker on the commission.

I can't believe the extent that some people go to protect their beliefs and the belifes of people like them. Honestly if you sat down and went out of your way to try and ensure society wouln't be offended there would be nothing left. I am as pissed as this as I am over women who insist on people being gender specific about job titles and what not. Ever had anyone tell you "Excuse me it's not mail man its mail person, or um I'm sorry MANkind? Do you want to rephrase that." It makes no sense to worry about what people think. Cody I demand that you write a stern letter to that woman with lots of big words. Start it off by saying "know what really grinds my gears?"
