U4WDA believes the four wheeling community is best served by:
1. Education thru the use of classes, pamphlets, and films to teach responsible conservation.
2. Use Auto Dealerships and suppliers for the distribution of information.
3. Support Utah Counties in obtaining Quiet Claims to roads within their jurisdiction.
4. Stays informed and work closely with all Government Agencies and local law enforcement.
5. Where practical uses peer pressure to keep OHV use within the law.
6. Inform local agencies and law enforcement of illegal OHV use.

We promote the following: BRC/UFWDA: National legislation, action alerts, lobbying, etc
USA-All:- Local legislation, action alerts, lobbying, etc
U4WDA: On the ground actions. Service projects, education, club training, broadcasting the needs of Usa-All, UFWDA & BRC to its member clubs. Require clubs to be members of Usa-All, UFWDA & BRC, tie it into dues.
Member Clubs: Rides, education, hats, jackets, newsletters, raffles, etc. Require membership in U4WDA
Individuals: Join a club and promote responsible use amongst fellow travelers.

I drive an 89 xj 6 inch lift 33-1250-15 dick cepec crusher mostly stock but gets the job done always needs something fixed but what jeep doesn't I also have a 98 tj workin on putting a v8 in but money seems to be short so its on the back burner

Is it going to be a trail rig, not a street vehicle?

Its fine bout the 4 days thing so busy did not even notice to be honest I've never done the forum thing was recommended to this one thought I would give it a try

I'm not up to date on current Utah emissions & engine swap rules, but last I heard you needed to use an engine from the same year (or newer) as the vehicle that it's going into, and the new engine needs to pass emissions better than the old engine would have.

Not to throw a wrench in your plans, but I would urge you to research the current engine swap rules. If the above is still true, you will need a '98+ engine. It's very possible to use a Vortec 350, which is a great engine, but it's more complicated than a carbed 350 due to the wiring.

Sounds like you have a good handle on it, I'd love to hear more about the project when you get back to working on it! I've swapped a couple Chevy V8's into Jeeps, from a 400 horse 355 into a CJ5 to a Gen III 5.3 into a TJ... a V8 in a little Jeep is FUN!!
