What did you think was sadly executed?

Out of sheer curiosity.

You would need to see it firsthand... but tubework should exlude the use of bondo ;)

Its a neat rig, no doubt... but IMO (keyword opinion), it is rather useless. Its not a rockcrawler, too wide, prototype axles, etc. Its not a trail rig, no top, not street legal (in Utah that is). And its not a daily driver candidate, again not remotely street legal in Utah. It might tickle the fancy of some, and for that I hope it finds a home... but I prefer a rig with a purpose ;)

whats the street legal issue with it just out of curiosity? i prefer rigs with a purpose as just asking.

It looks like it needs a front bumper, fender flares, mud flaps, Perhaps it might be too tall for Utah's lift laws.
All can be fixed im sure.
I have no idea on the electrical stuff

Height may be an issue? Front and rear bumpers, mud flaps, hydro steering and fender flares just from the pics. Steering might be OK with enough hassle (similar deal as beadlocks), but to install fender flares to meet the laws... would be pretty nasty on that rig IMO.

For a state like CO with more liberal safety laws, could be fun rig.

All i can say is the pictures do nothing. YOU REALLY WOULD NEED TO SEE IT FIRSTHAND like Kurt says. :-\<-- my face when i looked it over

I've seen this in Moab before, and like Kurt and Jason said, I wasn't that impressed (and no, not just because it's not a Samurai :D). The tow rig on the other hand is kinda neat.

the portaltech axles are a cool idea.. but not cost effective as of yet if my info is correct.. obviously they haven't become the next cool thing yet.. and they've been around for years.

for what it is i think it is cool..yeah, it is rediculos but i give the man points for creativity.. and i think the purpose of this vehicle is to just be cool... i know i would roll it..
anyway somthing diff for ya guys to look at..maybe we will see it in moab this year and see if he will take it on a trail with us, to see how it really does..or if it will just sit on a corner with a for sale sign in it?

I would be interested in seeing the 6x version with the back hoe on Parleys or Fairview. From a distance of course  But hey maybe it would work like a champ. It just looks like there would be alot of overbearing weight for the size of the tow rig.
