inboarding springs

So I have a freind with an 81 toy and whilst we are doing the chevy spring swap in the back I thought about inboarding the springs. I have done this on several other rigs with mixed results.

Has anyone done this. I am not talking about alot here maybe 1.5" on both sides, haven't really measured stuff out.

This truck still needs to mantain its daily driver status so body roll is the main worry

Its also a budget build so we can't really do a fancy torsion swaybar or anything like that.

thanks guys

I really just want to know if there is a noticeable increase in body roll.

The fabrication part is actually pretty easy couple of spring perches and some hangers, new lower and upper shock mounts, all pretty easy to build in a couple of hours.

You might check in the formula toyota forum over on pbb. That is a pretty standard deal for those guys. It's not a really common deal with full bodied toys. Is the gas tank in the way on an 81?
