inexpensive source for scrap steel?

I need some steel tubing and plate for bumpers and skids, etc. Last time I was at Wasatch, they wanted a lot of dough for rusty scrap. I'm on a tight budget and was hoping to find a scrap yard or something with some junk I could make use of for an inexpensive cost or free.

Any Ideas or am I dreaming? =D
