Has anyone else had any issues installing a Genuine gear Quick lock (Or a Dana EZ Locker) In a D35. After my install I have had some issues with Freewheeling and EXTREAMLY hard engages. I figure I need to Shim it up a bit but I have not found a Shim set to shim it.. IE a Spider gear, side gear shim set. anyone have any ideas on the best way to shim this out or have you found any other solutions in your past experiances?

Just 31's... Unfortunately I have installed it and it had massive freewheeling and hard engages.. most likely too much space between gears

the extra backlash is normal. Are you running an automatic or standard transmission? You will notice it a lot more with a standard.

Automatic trany... I know that something is wrong.. as I shouldn't freewheel with both wheels at one time (extreamly noisy by the way).. or have only one wheel with power on stright roads
