I aw this on Craigslist. Has anyone done it? Is there any truth to it?

I have a set of injectors with 37k miles on them. They came out of a 5.0 mustang and will fit a 4.0 jeep motor. The reason they increase mileage is because the jeep injectors are a one hole injector while the mustang injectors are 4. This atomizes the gas and give your more efficiency and horse power

Make sure they are flow matched injectors. (Usually you are ok if you are certain they are from the same motor.)
I think the 4.0 runs a 24lb/hr stock, stroker guys go with 26lb/hr (not that you run them at capacity).

Renix motors use 19 pound an hour injectors. High output engine run 21 in the earlier models and 24 I believe in later years I have a link that shows what you can swap in them with part numbers

i've read that it doesn't necessarily make your engine get better gas mileage, but it makes the engine run smoother and get a bit more power. i looked into doing this when I had an XJ.
