So just posting to rant/ see if anyone else has run into this problem. My muffler sits close to my emergency brake cable line to the rear drivers axle. The muffler has cooked the cable and my parking brake has sucked lately. So went and ordered a new set of cables. They showed up and the side that is bad is too short in the black housing area. Total bummer. Returned it and had a different place order me one thinking it was a manufacture error. Nope the next one was also about half an inch too short! but the passenger side one that i had was too long but thats just fine.
The jeep is lifted 4" suspension wise, and long story short, where can i get a cable/housing that will work for my application. Maybe both cables came from the same place and they are just cutting the housing too short in the factory. Anyways just frustrated :-\
