Couple things to update, cracked the FJ40 chassis at King of the Hammers 2015 (made it up back-door though, so that's all that counts!!!). I ended up plating the frame and at the time reconfigured the rear 1/4 elliptical suspension to coil springs. At that time I removed the sides and tailgate of the tub, created a 3 seater and rebuilt the rear portion of the cage. Seemed to come out ok as it wheeled Easter Jeep Safari quite well.
